The main pool, measuring 20 meters by 10, provides generous dimensions for swimming enthusiasts. Equipped with a gently sloping access ramp, it is easily accessible to children and people with reduced mobility. Its shallow end is ideal for introducing your children to swimming.
Nearby, a large wading pool of 8 meters by 8, with a depth of 40 cm, welcomes the little ones. Some umbrellas provide shade in this area dedicated to children. A grassy beach invites vacationers to relax, with plenty of sun loungers, deck chairs, umbrellas, and games for children available around the pools. We are not on top of each other, even at the pool, space is luxury. That’s the experience of a campground in Auvergne!
All fun accessories and inflatable objects are welcome, because, as you know, nothing is forbidden at CosyCamp…
The pools are open to the public from 10 am to 9 pm in July and August, and from 10 am to 7 pm in the low season, allowing you to fully enjoy the pleasures of the water from June to September. Before June 1st, access to the Roman bath is free.

A paddling pool for children
Summer days in Auvergne can get very hot. What a joy, far from the sea, to be able to refresh your young children in a suitable basin, safely! The paddling pool of the CosyCamp aquatic space offers a water depth of 40 cm, ideal for the first swims of young children.
They can discover the pleasures of their first swims and relax in the water without risk. A gentle way to get familiar with water and its many pleasures. 16 m2 of the basin with a shaded part make this large paddling pool a wide and comfortable aquatic space for the games of the little ones.
Lazing on the terrace by the pools
It is in an exceptional natural setting that the CosyCamp aquatic space is located.
Around the pools, the vegetation is lush, and the view extends to the volcanoes of Auvergne, locally called the Sucs of Haute-Loire, with the ruins of Artias Castle on top.
For relaxing between two swims, deckchairs are set up on the terrace, in the shade of a tree or an umbrella, but also in the sun if you want to sunbathe and warm up after the swim.
Finally, a grass beach invites you to relax on a towel or a sun lounger out of sight, for a well-deserved nap in a most rejuvenating environment. Imagine yourself watching your children play in the shade of a tree, in a unique natural setting!
Dive into the indoor covered pool
How about a heated indoor pool? Well yes, it’s possible at CosyCamp: We are a campground in Auvergne with a heated outdoor pool and wellness indoor pool!
Nestled in the heart of the fragrance garden, in a building clad in untreated raw douglas, the Roman Bath is an indoor aquatic space heated to 32°C. This multifunctional pool of 15m² includes a whirlpool, a counter-current swimming system, as well as ambient lighting. Privatized for an exclusive experience, our guests can sign up at reception for 1-hour slots with family, friends, or loved ones. Access is paid and by reservation, and children are welcome under the supervision of their parents.

Swimming in the Wild Loire
The Haute-Loire is full of exceptional natural swimming sites. And at our campsite in Haute-Loire…, our natural pool is the Loire! In this Natura 2000 area, preserved and protected, the water quality is very good.
The advantage is that it flows gently from its source to our shores, with shallow depth: it quickly warms up from the sun on the stones, and it’s not uncommon for the water to reach 25 or 26 degrees Celsius during the summer season. No sandy beach in front of our place, but an impressive volcanic and granitic setting instead.
At the foot of the basaltic peak of Artias, right opposite, the waters are much deeper and the rocks form natural diving boards that allow young people to jump into the water.
