In a vast green park where children joyfully run and adults reconnect with nature, reducing pollutants is a major concern. This approach includes not only banning motorized vehicles, excluding car access to the site, but also carefully selecting eco-friendly gardening and maintenance products. We are a LPO Refuge, which delights the local birds. For lighting, our lampposts run exclusively on solar energy, highlighting our commitment to an environmentally friendly approach.

Whenever possible, we collaborate with an eco-friendly dry cleaner: offering nature-friendly cleaning services with no solvents, no pollutants for the water, no phosphates, and a careful management of water and energy.

We connect you with local suppliers around CosyCamp, offering bread, cheese, and mostly organic vegetables. You can visit their websites, place an order, and have it delivered to CosyCamp.

Cleaning products for the sanitary facilities and accommodations are at least certified Organic Agriculture or Ecocert.

Practicing strict recycling, reducing the use of single-use items, promoting sharing and recycling: these are the missions that CosyCamp, the eco-friendly campsite, has set to work for a healthier planet and a better future for our children. We have implemented a composting system for organic waste and encourage our guests to do the same.

During the winter, we use a shredder to recycle tree pruning waste, which we then reuse to mulch our gardens and wild hedges. Waste sorting is a standard practice in all our accommodations.

Resource management is at the heart of every eco-friendly campsite, and CosyCamp works on it every day. Water is a precious asset, whose virtues and value we know well. Its management is optimized through state-of-the-art wellness and relaxation facilities.

For garden irrigation, we have dug two wells and collect rainwater. We use mulching techniques to avoid the use of herbicides and water the vegetable garden using drip irrigation at night with well water. No chemicals are used, and weeding is done by hand.

We have also installed water flow reducers on our faucets in the sanitary facilities and accommodations.

CosyCamp’s restaurant offers simple yet homemade cuisine in a warm, natural setting. On the menu at the bar-restaurant under the covered terrace, sheltered from the elements and the sun: a choice of meat or vegetarian dishes, burgers, pizzas, and salads, all featuring high-quality, local, and environmentally friendly products whenever possible. The restaurant is by reservation only, which helps reduce food waste!

A food truck near CosyCamp by the leisure center offers organic, Lebanese, and vegetarian cuisine several times a week. You can enjoy homemade dishes ‘Chez Simone’ in the village of Chamalières.

To minimize our impact on the land, we chose elevated, unique accommodations in our “glamping” area in the heart of Auvergne.

We prioritize natural materials such as wood and canvas. The Cottages and Cabins are made of untreated Douglas fir from the region, a naturally rot-resistant wood. We work locally, as the structures were built by a company within the department.

They blend seamlessly into nature and enhance the beauty of the site. If one day we needed to dismantle them, they would leave no impact on the environment.

Glamping is a clever blend of luxury and nature… And isn’t luxury about daring to invest in places with an approach traditionally reserved for dedicated venues? Glamping campers have fun? So do we. All while respecting Mother Nature!

Initially, a few participatory workshops left their mark: woven willow fences, colored pencils made from trees. Then came artist residencies. We play with nature’s scenography to set up installations that serve no purpose other than external aesthetics and creation.

The result? Our clients speak of it best. Yes, indeed, CosyCamp is a unique, atypical campsite.
