Everything is designed for you to enjoy an exceptional family holiday in an atypical campsite. All our accommodations and camping pitches give you access to the heated pool, restaurant, and campfire evenings.

Unusual lodgings with or without sanitary facilities

For your glamping stay, our accommodations can host from 2 to 8 persons which is ideal for large families or groups of friends. Most of our lodgings have internal sanitary facilities (toilets, bathrooms and sinks). When renting a Canadian tent or an Amazonian tent, you use shared sanitary facilities located nearby.

Rental of a fully comfortable cottage

What if you imagined a more traditional stay? There’s something for everyone. The cottage, for example, a real little isolated wooden house, is very spacious. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and toilets, and a large living room. You also have a terrace, perfect for enjoying your vacation in Auvergne outdoors.

Original and unusual accommodations

All our accommodations, whether isolated or not, are made of untreated cloth and wood. The tree houses and cottages, for example, are built of Douglas fir. But beware, we do not want to implement unusual accommodations or atypical accommodations at all costs.

In the spirit of Glamping, we seek above all to create a harmony, a ambiance, an external aesthetics. Each installation must have meaning. It’s not about inserting a rental tent in the middle of a row of mobile homes.

We have worked upstream from the design phase with manufacturers… and are always imagining the next chapter of our story. We are not very far from Lyon, so if you want to try an unusual weekend near you…

Campfires and returning to the roots

Located away from the sleeping area, the bivouac embodies our quest for simplicity and returning to the roots. This space dedicated to campfires and barbecues was designed to create an atmosphere. In the evening, when the fairy lights turn on, memories of festival or outdoor café scenes come to mind. Dry wood is available, there are numerous charcoal barbecues, and the large round tables can gather up to 15 guests to share unforgettable moments.

The fire is the only entertainment at CosyCamp… But ultimately, in an eco-friendly car-free campground, far from urban hustle, a warm campfire in the evening is perfectly in its place.

Glamping, another way to camp

Glamping is a clever mix of luxury and nature… And luxury, isn’t it about daring to occupy places in a way that traditionally only belongs to dedicated venues?

Initially, CosyCamp camping offered a few creative workshops, then our vision expanded and led to hosting artists in residence.

We use the scenography of nature to set up installations in our glamorous camping that serve no other purpose than outdoor aesthetics and creation.

In 2022 and 2023 CosyCamp signed a partnership agreement with the International School of Design of Saint-Etienne: two years of exchange and work with design students…

An unusual camping site with responsible resource management

Our unusual camping site is also an ecological campsite.

To limit our impact on the soil, we chose stilt accommodations. And we favor natural materials such as wood and canvas for the creation of each lodging.

The cottages and cabins are made of regional Douglas fir, untreated as it is naturally rot-resistant. We work in a short supply chain, as it is a local company that built them. They blend into nature and contribute to the beauty of the place.

From the very design of the campsite, we collaborated with the Centre for Applied Botanical Resources in Lyon (CRBA) to establish hedges, groves, and many gardens.

For garden watering, we dug two wells and collect rainwater. We use the mulching technique to avoid the use of weed killers. No chemical products are used and weeding is done by hand.

We have also installed water flow reducers on our faucets, we compost our organic waste and encourage our customers to do the same. Naturally, waste sorting is organized for all rentals. For lighting, our lampposts operate on solar energy.

Our cleaning products are natural ecological products based on pine enzymes, labeled and certified by EcoCert. We work with an ecological laundry service: it offers environmentally friendly washing: no solvents, no water-polluting components, no phosphates, and a responsible management of water and energy.
